The company has set up a meeting to find the reason behind it and find out that most of the pages in Google were not crawling properly at that time. Two types of optimization:

1. On page optimization.

Changes made inside the website are called On Page optimization. Web pages can be easily crawled by the process of this page optimization. The Webmaster (custodian) of the website is responsible for this optimization process using a username or password.

2._ Off _Page optimization

Changes made outside the websites are called Off_ page optimization. Usually this process is done to increase the ranking of the website.

HISTORY OF SEO:

Google has undergone various methods for improving the ranking procedure of the website:

1. KEYWORD STUFFING

Earlier, Google ranked the websites based on the number of keywords used. The more number of a particular keyword will be provided as the highest rank. It is a black-hat business technique in which a particular keyword is stuffed in order to increase the ranking and also called content specific or niche specific. Google has changed the algorithm to improve the quality of the website.

2.LINK SPECIFIC:

In order to reduce the keyword stuffing inefficiency, Google has launched another algorithm update known as link specific update. As per this update of Google, as the number of links to the website increases, that particular website is ranked higher than those with fewer links.

3. QUALITY LINK SPECIFIC

It is also a page ranking system update by google in which the websites with the links from the quality websites will be ranked high. In order to increase their rank value in Google, high quality websites started selling the links for payment that created difficulties for Google.

4. PASSING THE JUICE:

Google update in order to reduce the drawbacks of the quality specific links in which if a quality-specific website provides more number of links to the websites, its rank value will be reduced by Google as per this act.

5. REL="no follow"

If a quality website provides more links to other websites, but according to this, update if the website mentions REL="no follow" in their program while passing the link, then the equity value would not be reduced as per this Google update.

Google ad's- Google displays our advertisement with a payment as per our requirement and meeting the terms and conditions of Google. Cost per click is a method in which we place a Google advertisement, and the amount will be withdrawn from the client as per the cost per click conditions of Google.

Example: for each click from the customer website that has placed the adv. may lose the money as per the Google plan accepted by the website.

GOOGLE ADSENSE:

It is a program of Google in which a website publisher serves the advertisements that are sorted and managed by Google through their website to the audience for that particular website. If our website matches the criteria and quality of Google, website publisher can apply for Google Ad sense through which he or she will receive payment from Google for displaying their advertisement.

6. POGO STICKING:

Google provides more rank to those websites in which the search audience has stayed on that particular website for a long time, and they will be ranked high rather than closing the sites immediately. Google launched this update in 2009.

Bounce rate:

The website with less bounce rate will be ranked higher. Bounce rate of the website increases if the visitors of the website close the pages often rather than spending more time or moving on to another page on the same website.

7. SOCIAL MEDIA SIGNAL:

As the social media got more influenced among the people in 2010, Google launched an update called social media signal in which more interacted sites will be ranked high. To reduce the inefficiency of this method, those websites with more influenced customer websites will be ranked high in the Google search result as the number of interactions started increasing among websites.
